Reef Punta is probably the best, what slovenian sea has to offer. Becouse of its geological structure it gives safe haven to most of the species that live in this northern part of adriatic sea.

It is possible, to do 2 different dives on the reef – the northern and southern side. It is very convenient, when there is bad weather and wind from the south – there is calm on the other side – and vice versa.

The maximum depth on the southern side is not to exceed 12 meters – due to muddy bottom from this depth deeper. On the northern side, the reef drops from 5 meters to 22 meters.

Plenty of times, it is possible to make a slow drift dive with the reef, due to little permanent current.
